About OPUS
The main objective of the OPUS project, 'Optimal well-being, development and health for Danish children through a healthy New Nordic Diet', is to establish a multi-disciplinary research centre to develop a healthy and palatable new food and eating concept "The New Nordic Diet", and to examine how such a diet can affect mental and physical health.
The project shall ensure the scientific foundation for a healthier life style for future generations with a regional based diet and food culture.
The research centre will furthermore aim at disseminate this knowledge to the Danish population and thus create the foundation for a changed behaviour through schools and institutions amongst others.
