Prevention of weight (re)gain - diet, genetics, behaviour, screening af novel food ingredients

More research results on obesity?  ‘So what’ you may ask?

New information is released almost daily but does it help to address the critical question of 'what' we as individuals, health professionals and policy makers can 'do' to stem the inexorable world-wide rise of obesity particularly in children.

The opening debate of the DIOGENES Symposium will set the scene to address the 'so what' question. Is it in our 'nature' or is it down to how we are 'nurtured'?

The DIOGENES Symposium with its multi-disciplinary speakers will put the 'meat on the bones' and reveal the results achieved from the largest pan-European study ever convened – including results from the dietary intervention study investigating the best diet to combat weight re-gain.

Is protein control or attention to glycaemic index the answer?

Come to the DIOGENES Symposium 4-6 May and find out.
